Raul Rivero and the ICC team of catastrophe specialists were called to Haiti to represent the rights of insureds in over 30 claims caused by the devastating Earthquake that rocked Port Au Prince, Haiti on January 12th, 2010. The ICC Team, led by Mr. Rivero, have documented the damages of many recognizable properties in Port Au Prince including the legendary Hotel Montana where 108 people perished from the disaster. The ICC team included some of the most respected structural engineers, builders and insurance professsionals documenting structural damage, loss of inventory and loss of income on these business claims. As expected, and despite the horrific occurance, the Insurance Carriers are fighting these claims. ICC and Mr. Rivero are working dilligently to insure that the rights of the policy holders are upheld despite the despicable tactics of the Insurance Companies which seek to minimize these claims.
